“What I love most about being an optometrist is the opportunity to provide vision and visual perception to children and adolescents so that they can enjoy activities, sports and life experiences to their fullest potential.”
After extensive use of glasses and visual training exercises during her childhood in order to correct muscle balance and to improve her vision, Dr. Marron-Curdo knew she wanted to become an optometrist.
A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Marron-Curdo studied biology at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.
For over twenty years, Dr. Marron-Curdo has specialized in pediatric and family eye care. Her experience involves early intervention of eye muscle and focus dysfunctions which could permanently impact vision in children and effect their eyesight into adulthood. She enjoys seeing all members of the family for their vision needs and is happy to accept new patients. She is TPA licensed and treats eye disease, infection and injury.
Dr. Marron-Curdo and her husband reside in Wilmington with their four children. When not seeing patients, she is busy with her involvement in Wilmington’s many community events and numerous activities her children participate in.
